MEET YOUR COMPANY DIRECTOR
Addison Werlein

Addison Werlein serves as Company Director of the pre-professional competitive program at First Class Dance Center, where she leads dancers through structured, elite-level training designed to bridge the gap between studio education and the professional industry. She directs the program alongside a team of highly trained and carefully selected instructors who uphold a unified standard of excellence, professionalism, and technical integrity.
A former regional and national title-winning competitive dancer, Addison brings firsthand knowledge of the discipline, versatility, and performance quality required to succeed at high levels. Her diverse training in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, ballet, and acrobatics informs her commitment to developing technically proficient and stylistically versatile artists.

Her training model emphasizes cross-training, convention and competition exposure, and rehearsal processes that mirror professional environments. Drawing from her background in Athletic Training from Texas State University, Addison incorporates biomechanics, anatomy, and injury prevention strategies into company curriculum to support long-term, sustainable dancer development. Through strategic leadership and a clear artistic vision, Addison remains committed to cultivating disciplined, versatile, and resilient performers while fostering a company culture rooted in accountability, excellence, and artistic growth.

In 2025, Addison stepped into the role of Company Coordinator, redefining and elevating the competitive company into a structured pre-professional pathway program. Under her leadership, the company is organized into progressive levels with tiered time commitments, increasing technical rigor, performance expectations, and professional standards at each stage of development.
